Whether you're an athlete or just want to move better day-to-day, we build a rehab plan around your specific needs. Techniques may include manual therapy, dry needling, cupping, and strapping.
What happens at my first physio appointment?
Your initial appointment is 40 minutes long. In that time, your physiotherapist will do a thorough assessment, explain what they find, discuss your diagnosis, provide hands-on treatment, and put together a personalised rehabilitation plan to guide your recovery. Follow-up appointments are 30 minutes and focus on reassessment and ongoing treatment. You'll always leave knowing what's going on with your body and what the next steps are.
What is pelvic health physiotherapy, and who is it for?
Pelvic health physiotherapy helps people manage issues related to the pelvic floor and surrounding areas. Our physiotherapist sees clients of all genders and can help with bladder or bowel leakage, pelvic organ prolapse, pelvic pain, sexual discomfort, pregnancy-related pain, and post-birth injuries. You do not have to put up with these problems — effective, respectful treatment is available. No GP referral is required to book.
How much does pelvic health physiotherapy cost in Palmerston North?
At Better Bodies Physiotherapy, a private initial pelvic health appointment (60 minutes) is $170, and follow-up appointments (30 minutes) are $100.
