Pregnancy Check Up Prenatal Physiotherapy Palmerston North
Personalised physiotherapy care during your pregnancy to help you manage pregnancy related pain, physically prepare for birth, know what to expect after having your baby and understand maternal birth injuries.
Pregnancy and childbirth can put extra stain on your body, including increased pressure on your pelvic floor muscles, joints and ligaments. This may lead to discomfort or issues including tears, incontinence or prolapse. Our Physiotherapist can identify any risk factors you may have, give you the knowledge to prepare for birth and manage any changes throughout your pregnancy and postpartum period. We recommend seeing us for at least one appointment during the second half of your pregnancy, however you are welcome to see us earlier if you are wanting earlier advice on particular aspects of pregnancy management.
